This is Welsey Green of DePaul, my latest plus-sized college basketball player obsession. I’m not sure what exactly attracts me to these All-McDonald’s Americans, but I believe it’s a combination of humor and just sheer amazement. Just think about the odds one must overcome to remain a flabby, 300lb Division I hoops player. First off, you need to have serious athleticism and agility to make it this far in basketball. But secondly, you need to have some serious fast food skills to keep on the weight while running and jumping everyday for six months.
You already know about Ivory, but I’m a positive that there are more plus-size heroes out there. That’s why I’m depending on everyone out there to help STF complete the Ivory All-Stars.
