Actual phone message from my sister who was at the Syracsue-Pitt game....
" Hey, I don't really watch basketball, but isn't it almost impossible to lose when you are winning by so many points? People are really, really pissed here, I saw someone kicking a parked car. It looks like a funeral just let out".
I don't really have much else to add to Syracuse's epic 11-point collapse in the final three minutes against Pitt, only that Paul Harris better have a personal security team with him at all times and that Gerry McNamara isn't walking through that door, so don't expect a Big East Tournament.
Also crashing and burning this afternoon, Kent State, who fell to Bowling Green 89-83. Yes, Suss is somewhat pleased.

Though I don't think Syracuse likes this team as much as last year. They aren't going to get 26,000 people for NIT game I dont think unless its another high profile team.
I've already said I didn't think 'Cuse would make the dance. But I said something to the effect of "Kent State will roll through Bowling Green" whenever I profiled them last week... whoops. They're probably going to need the auto-bid at this point and that's truly unfortunate after they went into St, Mary's and won last week.
