I love these seemingly meaningless contests that will have a significant impact on who will be dancin' in March. The Minutemen rallied back from an 11-point halftime deficient behind 53% shooting and four players scoring more than 16 points. The win is another quality W om the Minutemen resume as they head into A10 play as well as into a huge match-up with Vanderbilt. Houston can point to this blown game when they are left at home on Selection Sunday.
Also Intriguing
Dayton 83 Akron 81 (2OT)
The "trap game" warning for the Flyers in this game could be seen from outer space . The Flyers were just days off the huge upset of Pitt and heading into a huge against an extremely underrated Akron squad. Depending on the way you look at it, this win may actually be more impressive than the Pitt win.
Indiana 79 Iowa 76
Still have no god damn idea how Iowa kept this one close up until the end, but the Hoosier survived six Hawkeyes threes in the final 4:00 minutes to pull out the surprisingly close win.

He's a 6'6" G/F from a Christian school who draws comparisons to O.J. Mayo. So why hasn't anyone signed him yet? Oh, yeah, he was the wheel-man in a drive-by. [Super, Scintillating, and Sarcastic]

The A-10 is the new Missouri Valley. With Rhody, UMass, Dayton and Xavier, it should get as many tourney bids as some more traditional basketball conferences.
