Unless you were one of the 13 people nationally who have ESPNU and stayed home on Friday night, here is the clip of the mid-court shot that AJ Graves sunk to lead Butler to the last second win at below .500 SIU (Clip's from ESPN, so you have to sit through some announcer drivel for a bit). I thought I would be clever and DVR this game since my parents get actually get ESPNU and watch this one at 2am when I got home. Let me tell you how excited I was at around 3:45am to find out that the DVR stopped recording with :35 remaining and SIU up 3, only to find out about the amazingly awesome buzzer-beater victory by Butler on ESPN.com. Of course.

I am proud to say I'm one of those 13 people. When he let it go I thought it'd catch rim for sure, but I never thought he'd hit it. Just another example of why I watch this stuff.
I'll tell you what tho, AJ Graves gives me a weird Steve Nash vibe and I'm not sure why.
Ha, my friend kept calling Graves an "ugly Steve Nash" when we watched the reply of the game.
Their looks are definitely simpler, but it's more of a scrappy will to win that I think reminds me of Nash watching Graves. He doesn't look like much, but somehow he makes things happen.
That's nothing...I had the pleasure of watching Graves in HS because my buddy was his coach......I saw him hit a set shot from 3/4 court to win a HS game and walk off the court as if it was nothing. We played some ball during the Summer I was down there and his range started as soon as he exited his vehicle. Ridiculous. I'm not sure he's the ball handler/distributor that Nash is though.
I was one of the 13...great game. SIU kind of sucks.
