New York Post style headline aside, two of the nation's top college basketball programs (and major reasons for adult males wear orange) suffered devastating injuries over the weekend.
First, Syracuse lost their top guard and senior leader when Eric Devendorf tore his ACL, ending his season and possible career for the Orange. And you thought this team was freshmen oriented before? We'll really get to see what freshmen Donte Green and Jonny Flynn are made of with Big East play around the corner. Hey, at least it's not the A10, Cuse seem to be struggling with them lately.
Also, Tennessee has lost forward Duke Crews indefinitely with a heart ailment. You may remember that Crews was suspended by the team to start the season, but had since been reinstated. Tough break for the Vols, who will surely miss Crews' rebounding and interior defense against the like Oglivy in the SEC.

Devendorf is a junior, so even if this season of eligibility is lost, Syracuse will still have him for his senior year. However, seeing as he has not played in 30% of SU's games, the university is investigating the posibility of a medical redshirt.
