Hoopnight is your daily look at televised hoops. We're currently holding our breath waiting for the announcement of the A-10/C-USA Challenge.
Don't Miss
#17 Oregon at Kansas State - 9pm, ESPN2
Wow, what a great matchup. Both teams are 5-1 with losses to mid-majors on their early season resumes. The difference comes in the category of experience. Most of the Ducks' minutes go to a group comprised of three seniors and two sophs, led by Malik Hairston, Tajuan Porter, and Maarty Leunen. For K-State, the future is now, with Beasley, Pullen, and Walker doing their freshman thang. Watch Beasley and you'll see a guy who could have easily played in the NBA this year.
Watch if you Love Phil Martelli's Hair
#19 Gonzaga at Saint Joe's - 8pm, ESPNU
J-dog Pargo is dropping 5.5 dimes per contest. In Heytvelt's continued absence, the points are going to Daye and Bouldin. St. Joe's looked good against Syracuse earlier this month, with Calathes stepping into a central role with the Hawks. Guard Tasheed Carr has done it all so far, scoring in double figures and dishing out nearly 9 assists per game. If your kids are driving you crazy, make them flap along with the Hawk.
Tivo it and Sing "Boomer Sooner" with your Family
Oklahoma at #24 USC - 11pm, FSN
OU beat A-Sun darling Gardner-Webb, but lost to Memphis. USC lost to A-Sun darling Mercer but beat MVC tough guys Illinois State. USC's fate likely rests in the hands of unheralded freshman Ovinton J'Anthony Mayo.
