Dan Steinberg mentioned something in his DC Sports Bog today that I wholly agree with - in the battle of the bands, Mason wins hands down. The bandleader dresses in a green and gold pimp suit, the players all have jerseys with nicknames on the back, and their repertoire is current and kick-ass. Highly recommended.

Why exactly does South Alabama deserve a spot? Shouldn't you make the Sun Belt final first?

Would any major team want to face George Mason?

How about Carolina? Yes, please. UNC would be happy to go against George Mason. A little revenge would be nice.

Actually, Carolina will take anyone in their bracket.

I'm pretty sure Roy Williams would rather face Cornell, given the choice.

USA is already down to 38th in the RPI according to realtimerpi.com.

I compare this team to Syracuse, SU has a legit shot of beating Villanova in the first round of the BET, and then could definitely beat GU although they'll still be the underdog.

I look at USA and I just don't see that team having the ability to beat Nova like SU should, and then beat GU like SU can.

Of course when SU loses by 15 to Nova tomorrow I'll be eating my words.

Jameson, Team USA beat Mississippi State a tourney lock and they couldn't beat 'Nova? Your out of your mind.

Mississippi State also overrated: Best wins home against Arkansas and Kentucky

Losses in nonconference: S. Illinois, Both Miami's, USA, and Clemson (not a bad loss there).

Also loss at Mississippi after Miss. had lost 6 of 8.

USA's one quality win doesnt look that quality to me.

Neither Miami's, Clemson or So Ill are bad losses. Sorry.
