Our fearless founder Marco was at the A-10 tournament this week, and it just so happens that his Temple Owls won the battle of Philadelphia by knocking off the St. Joe's Hawks for the NCAA auto-bid.
Fortunately for us, Mid-Majority's Kyle Whelliston was in the center of the maelstrom, and captured the post-game insanity in pictures.
Marco gave the Temple Owl a heee-yoooge "Bro Hug"
And, while the Owl probably appreciated the sentiment, he promptly fled the scene.
Congrats, Owls. We'll look forward to seeing you in the Big Dance.

Temple storming the floor against St Joseph's was UNACCEPTABLE on the standards set forth on THIS WEBSITE as seen by the list of THEIR RULES:
When:
* If your unranked school beats a top-10 opponent.
-- SJU was not top 10
* If your lower-division school beats a D1 opponent. (See: Virginia @ Chaminade)
-- They were both D1
* You beat your most hated rival in overtime, or on a last-second miracle shot.
-- No miracle shot, and not most hated rival
* Your team breaks a long losing streak vs. a particularly difficult opponent. (See: Kansas State vs. Kansas at home.)
-- They beat SJU only a few weeks before hand AND stormed for that game also!!
* Your team wins the league tournament in a one-bid conference.
-- A10 is not a 1 bid conference ... see top ranked Xavier.
* In the NCAA tournament, only a 16 vs. 1 upset really matters any more. If your school wins in the Regional Final or Final Four, you can storm.
-- Was not in the NCAA tournament.
* If your school wins the NCAA Championship. This special win also confers limited looting & pillaging rights.
-- Clearly not the NCAA title game.
Either stick to YOUR OWN rules or stop wasting our time.
Without a doubt most hated rival and first trip to the tourney in seven years? Yeah, that counts
