We debuted this concept last season, because we are tired of the term "Coaching Carousel". We don't think a process that can be kick-started by Kelvin Sampson's friends-and-family minutes should be named after a child's amusement park ride. Right?
So, instead, we decided to be semi-blasphemous, and steal from the bible. Here, dear friends, are your 2008 Coaching Begats.

Jim Engles (former Columbia assistant) took over for Jim Casciano at NJIT... Didn't you guys interview him?
Yep, I reversed my Jims when I was typing. I'll fix it AND add a link.
Buzz Williams has D1 head coaching experience at UNO.
True, true. I forgot all about that year.
I was really hopeful that Coach Walberg could make something happen in Pepperdine. Hopefully the UMass position will lead to something in the future.
Walberg is a great coach and deserves another opportunity to prove himself.
