Hoops Night

This week there are many interesting line ups for the men's college basketball.  We are going to have a college basketball preview of upcoming games for the week and who might have the best chance at winning the games and taking a top ranking for the season.  These upcoming games for the college basketball preview could well mean how the rest of the season will shape up. 

The first mens college basketball teams for the new week will be Ohio State and Notre Dame.  They are set to play on December 6, 2008.  Unfortunately it could be a loss for Notre Dame. This college basketball preview is looking grim. Luke Harangody their lead player has been out with pneumonia.


To prevent Harangody from getting walking pneumonia or worse problems the coach has been hesitant to over play Harangody.  This week alone Harangody was in practice and has already scored 13 points in the last game on the 26th of November.  That is low for him considering he can score more than 20 in a mens college basketball game.  Ohio will be the favorite in the game with Harangody out for most of the play, so look for him in the next college basketball preview. Ohio just won against Miami with a 73 to 68 win.  Ohio is climbing in the polls as one of the teams to beat, which is why the Ohio and Notre Dame game is definitely a big game to watch and to keep watching in the next college basketball preview.

Another college basketball preview to look for is the Lamar and Louisville game on December 8, 2008.  Louisville is currently ranked in the Top 25 at number 11 in men's college basketball.  Louisville is the favorite to win this next game against Lamar as they are not even considered contenders in the game in this college basketball preview.  While Lamar has had some wins this year, they don't have star players of the caliber seen from Louisville or near the team.

Ohio is going up against Indiana State.  Ohio has been a contender this year in the men's college basketball games.  They just won against Miami Florida Hurricanes and are setting up for the win against Indiana.  It will be an interesting college basketball preview game to see who comes out on top.  Indiana has some star players as well that could very easily cause an upset in the game for Ohio.  This college basketball preview game will be hosted on ESPN for full coverage on PPV as well as highlights on their regular television channel.

Purdue is also on the top 25 list for mens college basketball teams that could go all the way this year. Keep your eye out for them in the college basketball preview. Purdue is currently in the Number 10 spot and will be playing against Ball State.  Purdue is the favorite in the game on the 9th.  Purdue had a little upset last week with Notre Dame, but they are still a strong team in mens college basketball and most likely will win the Ball State game with little problem.

Other games for the week include Davidson against West Virginia, Texas against Villanova, Drake against Iowa state, and Virginia Tech against Georgia. These teams can be seen on ESPN for full coverage.  There are plenty of games for next week's line up in mens college basketball worth watching to see just who wins.
